Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about CollabOP, creating your media kit, and managing your brand partnerships.
CollabOP is a platform where creators and brands team up. For creators, it's a place to automatically build a verified media kit and apply to brand campaigns. For brands, it's a powerful tool to discover vetted creators, manage campaigns, and handle digital contracts and secure payouts all in one place.
There are two ways! First (Inbound): Once your profile is live, brands can search for your specific audience and send you a collaboration invite directly. Second (Outbound): You can browse our active marketplace of trusted brands and apply to their open campaigns instantly with your custom rate.
Nope, it is completely free for creators! You can build your media kit, apply to campaigns, chat with brands, and get paid without ever paying a platform fee. You keep 100% of the money you negotiate.
Not at all. We welcome creators of all sizes. Brands on CollabOP are often looking for micro-influencers with highly engaged communities. If you create great content on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or LinkedIn, there are deals here for you.
Just click 'Sign Up' and securely link your main social accounts. CollabOP will instantly pull your public stats to create a professional media kit. From there, you just set your rates and you're ready to receive offers!
We prioritize the platforms that drive the best brand deals: Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Reddit, Telegram, and WhatsApp. We are constantly expanding to include others as well.
Instead of manually updating your follower count every week, your media kit securely syncs with your connected social accounts. It automatically updates in real-time with your latest followers, engagement rates, and demographics. Brands love this because they know the data is verified and 100% real.
Yes, it is perfectly safe. CollabOP is an official tech provider for major platforms. We use secure, authorized connections and never see your passwords-we only read your public statistics to verify your audience.
Yes! Many creators use CollabOP just to host their media kit. You get a clean, professional link that you can put in your Instagram bio, LinkedIn profile, or send to brands over email.
To keep things fair and trustworthy for brands, your core stats (like followers and engagement) are locked and update automatically from the official APIs. However, you can freely edit your bio, upload past work, and set your own prices.
Brands use our search tool to find creators who match their exact needs-like searching for 'tech creators in New York with 5% engagement on YouTube.' If your profile matches, they can send you a message and a deal offer directly.
Yes! You don't have to wait around. Browse our 'Open Campaigns' board, find brands you love, and send them a pitch. Your live media kit and rates are attached automatically, so you get to skip the cold emails.
You are the boss. You can decline any offer you don't like, with zero penalty. Brands actually appreciate a fast 'no' rather than being ignored.
Yes. Every brand on CollabOP is manually vetted by our team. We make sure they are legitimate and have the budget to pay you before they can post campaigns or message creators.
You can find Fixed Fee deals (you get paid a flat rate per post), UGC deals (you create content for the brand to run as ads, but you don't post it), Affiliate deals (you earn a commission on sales), and Barter deals (you get free high-value products).
UGC stands for User-Generated Content. In a UGC deal, you just film the video or take the photos and send the files to the brand. The brand posts it on their own page or uses it for ads. You don't have to post it to your own followers.
We have an easy-to-use chat hub built right into the platform. You can message the brand, discuss what kind of video they want, and negotiate your price-all in one place.
Just hit the 'Counter Offer' button! You can type in the price you want and explain why your audience is worth it. You are never forced to accept a low rate.
Nope. As soon as you and the brand agree on the price and the rules in the chat, CollabOP automatically creates a digital Smart Contract. You both just click to sign it, and you're legally protected.
Your contract protects you. If you agreed to one video and zero revisions, and the brand suddenly wants three videos, our system lets you request an extra fee before doing the extra work.
You simply upload your draft directly into your CollabOP workspace. The brand will watch it there and can either approve it or leave comments if they want a specific edit.
You own it! You are just giving the brand permission (a license) to use it for the specific time and purpose you both agreed to in the contract.
Once you upload the final video to Instagram or YouTube, just paste the link into CollabOP. Our system instantly verifies it and notifies the brand that the job is done.
Once the brand approves your final work, we transfer the money directly to you. For Indian creators, we process payments directly to your bank account via NEFT. For international creators, payouts are securely handled through PayPal or Stripe.
Escrow means you never get scammed. Before you even pick up a camera, the brand has to deposit your full payment into a secure CollabOP account. The money is locked in. Once you do the work, the money is guaranteed to be released to you.
No. Because of our escrow system, the brand has already paid us. As long as you followed the contract, your payment is 100% safe and guaranteed to reach you.
Once the work is approved, the funds are released. It usually takes about 2 to 5 business days to show up in your personal bank account.
No, we handle all the boring paperwork. CollabOP automatically creates a professional invoice and sends it to the brand as soon as you finish the job.
If you ever have an issue, our Creator Success team is available via live chat. If there is a disagreement over a video, our mediation team will step in, review the chat and contract, and make sure you are treated fairly.
